It's going to be a nice day today; the sun is out, birds are singing, and my neighbors aren't playing with a chainsaw outside my window at 10am (like last week).
I think this has been the longest winter here, in Georgia, in a very long time. I can't remember a time when it snowed three times in one season. Granted, the last snowfall didn't stick, but still...
I am eager for Spring's arrival.
I have grown very weary of winter.
I'm tired of wearing sweaters, and gloves, coats, scarves, etc. And I'm tired of the cold air that puffs & whispers through my drafty old windows. And down my chimney. And from beneath my doors.
I'm tired of everything feeling cold; doorknobs, furniture, keys, even the phone. It's as if the life has been sucked out of everything. My hands are never warm enough.
I'm tired of crunching my feet through frozen grass outside. Weary of the sound of wind rattling dead leaves through barren trees. Tired of getting up in the dark, driving to work in the dark, driving home in the dark. Dark. Dark. DARK.
I miss sunlight, you see.
I miss warmth.
To those of you in the northern states, and in northern Europe: I don't know how you do it. Once the temperatures drop below 40 degrees F, I become a cranky old bastard. To everyone. I think I would become homicidal if the temperature stayed below freezing day after day after day.
Truly. Homicidal.
So, Winter, let me be the first to bid you 'Adieu'. You are no longer welcome. Here's your hat & coat. Get the fuck out.
See you in November.
Sweet; it's almost 50 degrees F. Spring is here! If anyone needs me, I'll be outside helping Spring unload the car.

Sounds like an Inode problem.
Inodes are files on a web site. You see, used to the only thing web site owners had to worry about was storage capacity like with the size of their files. Then I'm sure you all remember when Bandwidth became an added on worry, which is regulating how many people can be on the site and use the site within a certain amount of time. Well.... welcome to yet another new concern for web site owners. The Inodes! Inodes regulates how many files total you are allowed to have on your web site. This may not sound much like a problem till you realize every message sent creates a new Inode. Add all the new profiles being created and all the images being uploaded, not to mention the forum and OVERLOAD!
The government sucks in web management. The Inode thing is stupid and pointless. It's just more B.S. to tear the net apart.
